Conceptual Development Conceptual development is critical in determining the requirements specification to be used as an input to design implementation. It is important to thoroughly address all factors up front in order to generate an accurate blueprint for the design process. Conceptual development investigates a range of different areas including; the client’s business, product market & market need, end-user interface requirements, product versioning strategy, IP landscape, competitive and alternative products, timeframe, and client objectives & expectations. Once LX thoroughly understands the clients’ needs; a requirements brief is generated, key technology R&D and risk mitigation activities are undertaken, and a project plan is developed. Conceptual development has 3 stages;
